Grounding During a Panic / Anxiety Attack

Find a window 

Choose a tree

Notice the leaves

Is the tree big or small?

Is there any movement?

*** this doesn’t have to be a tree, you can choose any object around you to identify, observe and describe.

This technique helps calming you down and bring you back to reality. You can do this with virtually anything around you, just remember –  there’s no wrong way to do this, do not judge yourself for feeling this way and breathe.
