If you focus on the hurt, you will continue to suffer. If you focus on the lesson you will continue to grow.
We all have a dark side, but instead of feeling ashamed and judging yourself understand and accept it, work on it, and let your inner light shine brighter.
Stop looking for reasons and excuses to go back to bad patterns and habits. Yes, it feels comfortable. But comfort doesn’t mean it’s good for you. If you’re constantly searching for that opportunity to go back, you’ll always find it.
You cannot change the people around you, but you can change the people around you. Read that again. ☺️
You know you’ve personally grown when the people who do their best to bring you down become so tiny that they’re even below things that you think of randomly. Focus on your growth. There is no upper limit to personal development. You shouldn’t have time to pull others down.
Even if you do the right thing, sometimes it still doesn’t go your way. Always remember that you tried your best and did the right thing with what you had in front of you. That’s all we can really do. Life is tough, don’t be tough on yourself.
Peace isn’t something you create, but a state of being you return to. Peace is a place inside yourself you can always return to.
Showing anxiety, stress or depression is not weak. It’s human. Being strong doesn’t mean you need to pretend to the world you’re okay, being strong means that it’s okay to feel what you’re feeling and doing what’s necessary to work through it.
It is usually and mostly, only hurt people they hurt people. Try and be the bigger person and move on without getting stuck in the negative projections of others on you.
There is a difference between being aware of what all can go wrong and thinking that things will most likely go wrong. They may just be the difference between your motivation or the lack of it.
